Welcome to the home of the Phoenix Gliders!

Phoenix Gliders is a competitive Club (Vacaville Pal) community organization.    Our goal is to commit to our Youth in Track and Field and to the development of scholastic and collegiate competition in athletic skills. We encourage education for our kids and help get  assistance  where there is a need, getting ready to think about College even at a young age. Our members range from ages 5 to 18 years old, serving the Solano County.  We believe that we have a mission to teach each child to have respect for others, education, leadership, technique, ethics, sportsmanship, and to always do their best.  Coming in first  is not  always the case, but the time is our objective.  Winning comes in many different forms and the kids learn not only to compete, but to always finish and never give up.  It becomes part of their spirit.  Our Motto is '' It's not how you start, but how you finish"  Our  goal is to make it to the Junior Olympics every year
Training a technique on how to run,  timing, and working on long distance running, also on field events in the Javelin, shotput, long jump, triple jump, and discus.  Teaching how to relax and controlling the run to the finish line

Our mission is to combat childhood obesity and in our community by offering track and field .......while preparing the youth for post secondary athletics
